As always I’m super nervous to drop this Season and yes season no longer Parts.

Long story short… life is in seasons sometimes parts but seasons the majority of the time.

This season starts back up with ya girl moving back home and trying to find my place in my hometown. A place that was once familiar to me but now it feels like I’m introducing myself to it again.

I’m in the season of finding myself. I feel like last season was me uncovering and accepting things about who I am and who I once was. This season is me trying my best to step into who I am and not what others have placed on me since I was a youngster.

I heard this quote on TikTok about how for 20 years people have told us who we are and for the next 20 years, we’ll be figuring out who we are.

In some moments of this season, I really wished I could give you nothing more than a glamorized telling of life. Sometimes the truth sucks ass. Sometimes I would have preferred to ignore it, close my eyes, and tell a fictional story… but that wouldn’t be Naked Truth now would it?

As the director continues to throw out their “suggestions” I grab my keys and my purse.

“Look here! You either take it or leave it. You ain’t the only director I know that can get the job done. That’s my truth and I’m sticking with it. Are we done here or do I need to make some phone calls?”

The director scratches the back of their neck… looking at me with a dumbfounded look

“That’s a wrap! Goodnight everyone”

“Mmmmmm… that’s what I thought,” I say as I walk down the hallway to find my assistant.

I hope they got something chocolatey in their bag.
